  Delivering the Instructional Message and Using Instructional Materials (3:05)

Learning Objectives
   
Learners will:

  1. Identify principals and practices for translating instructional design plans into instructional units.

  2. State the key attributes that create an appropriate interface between the instructional materials and the learner.

  3. Demonstrate productive strategies for conveying instruction in ways that help the learner understand the content.

  4. Show the use of a range of formats for immersing learners in the content.

Readings

  1. Morrison, Ross, and Kemp, Chapters 8 & 9.

Assignments
Your assignment by the end of this week is to complete and submit design document 2.  Design document 2 will begin with your learning objectives and include the following information: 

1.      The sequencing strategy you're using for each learning goal (e.g. learning-related, concept-related . . . )

2.      The instructional materials you will use to introduce, and/or reinforce the content.

3.      The instructional delivery methods you'll employ to engage the learners in the content..     

Again, look at the sample design documents for assistance in constructing this stage of your design.
