Period one is an introduction to the book.
(Mrs. Miller thinks
the students would enjoy secretly selecting the books.)
|
 |
Period two and three would be the reading and
discussion of the
book. That will give them about
three weeks to read. You
and your students would select the chapters that need to be read by the
following week. You need to have questions that will lead to a
discussion.
|
 |
Period four is presenting the book to the rest of the
class. This can be a persuasion
speech to get others to read this book, readers’ theater, poem, or
whatever. There maybe some opportunity to work with a Sioux Falls
classroom over something like our DDN.

Then
we would start the process over with a new book &/or topic. |
